Mechanical master key systems with Mul-T-Lock
With a master key system (also called a key plan or lock plan), each employee receives one key for the doors that belong to their role. We work with Mul-T-Lock MTL 400 and MTL 800 on an exclusive profile, with a key card and service from our own workshop in Brussels.

What is a master key system?
A master key system establishes which key opens which doors or locks. This is how you organise access to offices, technical rooms, warehouses and other secure zones.
- An individual key opens the assigned doors.
- A group key opens the doors of a department or unit.
- A master key, also known as a passkey, opens all or an agreed selection of the locks within the plan.
An employee can, for example, open the entrance and his office. The technical department gains access to the technical rooms and the gate. The building manager uses a master key.

A master key system can go beyond the doors of your building. Within the chosen system, we combine suitable versions.

Double cylinders, thumbturn cylinders and half cylinders, matched to your doors and hardware.

For rim locks, furniture, cabinets and switch locks of lifts or installations, among others.

For gates, enclosures and storage, with various versions depending on the application.

For containers and transport applications, included in the same master key system where the chosen version allows it.

Controlled key duplication
A key card comes with your system. Additional keys on our exclusive key profile are duplicated by us on presentation of that card.
We have the Mul-T-Lock KC5 key cutting machine and the components to assemble cylinders ourselves. As a result, we also carry out extensions and modifications from our own workshop.
A master key system that can grow with you
New doors, an additional department or other access requirements? We will look at how the existing plan can be extended.
For issuing and tracking the keys, you can combine the master key system with electronic key management. That way you also manage who takes a key and when it is returned.

Proof of ownership of your master key system; without the card, no additional key.

The Mul-T-Lock key cutting machine reads the card, cuts by code and marks the key.
For whom
Frequently asked questions
Can our existing doors be kept?
In many cases, replacing the cylinders is sufficient. We check the model, dimensions and suitability of the fittings.
What happens if a key is lost?
The master key system shows which locks can be opened with that key. We will review which cylinders need to be recoded or replaced.
How many doors can a master key system cover?
From a few doors to hundreds, with group and master keys per department. The plan is calculated in advance so that each cylinder accepts the right keys and no others.
