Mechanical locking systems

Padlocks and container locks

Access gates, storage areas and containers can also form part of your mechanical locking system. With a suitable Mul-T-Lock version, you use the same key for them as for the other access points in your master key system.

Choosing a padlock starts with the application

The available space, shackle and the resistance required determine which model is suitable. Versions are available with an open shackle, a shrouded shackle and a sliding bolt.

For heavier applications, the NE series offers several security levels:

Version with shrouded shackleCEN security grade
NE10H4
NE12H5
NE14H6

The grade stated belongs to the specific version (source: technical data Mul-T-Lock NE series). The fixing point and the locking bracket must also suit the application.

Different lock formats

From left to right: a heavy-duty model with a shrouded shackle, in which the shackle sits largely inside the lock body; an open shackle version for gates and chains; a sliding bolt lock for low installation space; and the HaspLock, in which the hasp and lock form a single unit. All versions can be keyed to a key of your master key system.

Container Lock

The Mul-T-Lock Container Lock connects the vertical locking bars of the container doors, so that they cannot be opened separately. The steel construction is adjustable to the distance between the locking bars; the central locking mechanism is based on the Mul-T-Lock Diamond lock.

A practical solution for containers holding goods, tools or stock, at a fixed location or during transport.

The lock is slid over both locking bars and locked, so that the doors cannot be opened separately. The key can be the same as the one for your doors and padlocks.

The same key, where practical

Suitable padlocks and container locks can be included in an MTL 400 or MTL 800 master key system. This means an employee does not need to carry a separate key for every door, gate or container.

Extra keys are duplicated following the controlled procedure with a key card.
