Mul-T-Lock MTL 800
MTL 800 combines three security mechanisms with extensive possibilities for master key systems. A solution for organisations that want to organise several buildings, departments and access rights within a single mechanical system.

Three mechanisms work together
- Telescopic pins: a combination of inner and outer pins checks the cuts of the key.
- Double Alpha spring: a moving element in the key tip operates an additional control point in the cylinder.
- Internal locking bar: a separate mechanism provides an additional security layer.
The correct key must satisfy all three checks before the cylinder can turn.

The tip of the key carries the double Alpha spring: the moving element that operates an additional control point at the back of the cylinder. The cross-section shows the telescopic pins and the internal locking bar that verifies the key. The steel reinforcing bar of the modular construction is a different component and is described below.
Modular, with a steel reinforcing bar
Our MTL 800 euro profile cylinders are built modularly. This means the length can be tailored to the door and the fittings.
AXCOR always uses a steel reinforcing bar in the modular cylinder construction. This bar strengthens the connection between the cylinder components. It has a different function from the internal locking bar that verifies the key.
A master key system that suits your organisation
Individual keys, group keys and master keys determine who can open which accesses. Suitable door cylinders and padlocks can be included within the same MTL 800 master key system.
MTL 800 is compatible with the earlier MT5+ platform. When extending an existing installation, we check the version present and the key profile.
Control over additional keys
We supply MTL 800 on our exclusive key profile and assemble the cylinders in our workshop. Additional keys are duplicated following the verified procedure with key card.
